Or.....it was just a crappy game. I don't know why people do this, write off a company after less than a year into a consoles life. In 2008 it was all doom and gloom for Sony. Look at them now. Same goes for Nintendo. Games will come out. People will buy them.
I played it and thought it sucked. Graphics were pretty piss poor and gameplay just not that engaging IMO. Its easy to see EA just threw it together to test the Wii u waters.
Agreed. Far cry was amazing but damn, after a few hours it got repetitive. Same with AC3. Really, the only parts I liked were the naval missions.
Side Vent...I'm a collector and I found every single chest in FC 3 which took hours and no trophy! Ugh I was pissed!
Yes! Spy vs merc is back. Next to rainbow 6, this was my favorite mp ever. I was really upset with the direction the last game took with auto takedowns and non existent mp of this caliber. Really hoping the load outs don't CODify it.
Man, breaking necks in chaos theory was fun. Even playing as a juggernaught merch was fun if you had a good partner. Blind firing grenades at the start of levels and getting a kill then seeing the person rage quit never got old lol

Nintendo knows what they are doing. My Wii u is awesome. Games are coming. Mario, Zelda, etc sell. I love the gamepad. Its a solid console.
I was a Sony fan back at ps3 launch and holy crap the PM's I used to get in this site were horrible. Every article was Sony is dead! Lol

That's a fair point. My response would be, though that I am a SP gamer 80% of the time. If I do go online its for coop campaigns. Never had an issue playing online with a friend. Ever.

Heck I play games on the gamepad while I watch TV. Its best of both worlds.

That's what I have done. Wii U in bedroom and I play Mario while watching TV and if I die a lot I just flit it on to the big screen. Play my ps3 in living room on even bigger TV for those hardcore last of us sessions. Best of both worlds.
PS. The browser is pretty sweet on the game pad. Its like a tablet.
I'm not one to ever count Nintendo out. I admit, my hardcore gaming is on my ps3 but I'll always buy Nintendo stuff as a back up. Heck, after a 4 hour session of the last of us, I need to decompress emotionally and playing Mario is perfect.
Also , the gamepad is sweet. The potential is there and yes games are lacking but if Nintendo says new awesome stuff is on the way I will believe them. They know Wii u fit is not gonna fly. I think there are some revolutionary game...

@cam... I just turned 40 last month. I asked for a Wii u for my bday from my woman. Why? Mario. I am hardcore on my ps3 but I have this soft spot for Mario. I love the new console. Laying in bed playing on the gamepad. Just have to beat the last castle in cloud world then off to fight bowser. Once I beat it Im picking up SMG2.
I say all this to point out some of us folks who grew up in the 80's, skipping lunch so we could spend the money at 7-11 playing SMB will never gro...

That looks pretty dang cool. I spent hours on the last MK trying to get 1st place in all tracks. The antigravity, if done right will be awesome.
Have to agree on bishock. Great atmosphere and level design but the combat just fell flat. Just enter room, enemies attack. Use machine gun and spam powers, rinse and repeat.
What it needed were those big mechanical guys as the standard enemies and more of the crow guys.
Dude if they release on that date there will be a global collective of bowels emptying at once.
After watching that again, I gotta say it looks pretty damn fun. If those public events are seamless this could be a perfect sp/mp hybrid.
